OPPORTUNITY:
An American healthcare services company seeks Senior Developer to take lead in the design, development, and maintenance of a proprietary business process application. The Company is a leader in its field and sees this application as a key priority to its continued differentiation. This role will enable an ambitious and energetic Developer to have leadership opportunities and the unique experience of creating a new business application. The employment is in Beijing, China.
ROLE:
The Senior Developer’s role is to lead all technical development activities associated with the design, development, and ongoing maintenance/enhancement of a proprietary business process application. This individual will work closely with an internal team consisting of a Business Analyst, DBA and company executives and an external team of programmers. This individual will be the technical point person for this application and must lead and direct all technical efforts as well as be able to roll up their sleeves and create and review code. The application will be constructed on the J2EE or .NET framework and coded primarily in C# with a SQL Server or Oracle backend.
Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Take the lead in the design, development, and ongoing maintenance/enhancement of a proprietary business
process application.
• Must assist in technical architecture/design.
• Must be able to work closely with a Business Analyst, and company executives to ensure that the application
meets company goals and objectives.
• Must endeavor to understand the business in order to match technical requirements to business needs.
• Must be able to coordinate with a team of developers who are not employed by the company, including the
quality of code and the adherence to technical specifications.
• Must have familiarity with application life-cycle management and have experience in taking a significant role in
previous software development projects.
