1). what is San Diego like? 聖地牙哥是個 什麼樣子的城市呢?
2). what type of clothes to bring? 該帶什麼樣的衣服?
3). Should I/we rent cars?  Bring our on "Chinese snacks"?  要租車嗎? 該帶些 "乾糧" 嗎?  (e.g. 泡麵, 餅乾, 零食?)
4). What are the most interesting topics to listen to?  哪些題目 看起來最有意思?

... ... 等等 .  好嗎?

(other possible topics - Is there a ChinaTown in San Diego?  Are there places to exchange RMB to US Dollar?  Is SeaWorld fun to visit?  What about the Zoo?  What should wife and children go and visit - if they can come too?  Should we fly into Los Angeles?  Is it safe in San Diego - crime rate?  Have you considered visiting the Mexico border at Tiajuana?  What is the "bay" there?  Anyone want to go snow skiing before or after the conference? ... ...)

大家好. 我用英文打, 請不要介意.  ^_^

I would like to share this document, my personal "HIMSS 06 planning worksheet".  Maybe it will help some of you who are planning to come to USA for this show.  Here are some key things:

Public transportation.  If you want to save money - I recommend that you take the "trolly" system, 街車.  The document has a map of the trolly system, and the website for you to look up more information.

Also, from the airport to hotel, I plan to take the bus to connect to the trolly - that will save even more money.  I currently don't plan to rent a car, or to take taxis everyday.

Key events on Sunday and Monday night.  "International Pavilion" (I will be in booth M808) and "Greater China Region SIG annual meeting".  Also, if any of you want to, we can try the Chinese restaurants there together as a group.

Note, at the Greater China Region SIG, I plan to allow all of you to share your company / organization's brochures and business cards there - free!  So bring any information that you want to Monday night's 4-6pm event.  I will definitely encourage them to go to 西安 for the CHIMA/CHITA conference also.

My travel plans.  I plan to arrive on Friday night 2/11, and leave when the show is over on 2/16 Thursday.  My cell phone is 770 891 6776; feel free to call me before you arrive in USA or after you get to San Diego.

I really hope to shake hands with some of you (or all of you!) who plan to visit this show.
