Donald W. Simborg, MD has published over 100 articles and book chapters on a wide range of medical informatics topics. He is a founding member of AMIA’s College of Medical Informatics and is the co-founder of HL7. He formerly served as a member of the Computer Science and Telecommunications Board of the National Research Council. He was the founder and CEO of two EHR companies.
